Do you sell rope by the foot or only full spools?
We sell commercial bulk spools. Spool lengths run up to 2,000 feet depending on rope type and diameter. We do not sell small retail bags or short cut lengths.
What is the difference between twisted and braided rope?
Twisted rope is made of three strands twisted together — it is easy to splice, economical, and works well for general utility. Braided rope has a tighter, smoother construction that resists abrasion, handles better in the hand, and does not kink as readily.
Should I choose polypropylene or nylon?
Polypropylene floats, resists chemicals and rot, and is the economical choice for marine and general-purpose work. Nylon is the strongest common rope, absorbs shock, and stretches — a better fit for towing, anchoring, and heavy pulling.
Can this rope be used for overhead lifting?
No. Our rope is general-purpose commercial rope and is not rated for overhead lifting or life-safety applications. Always apply a working-load safety factor well below the rope's tensile rating.
Can I return a spool?
Unused spools in original condition can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Cut, spliced, or used rope is not returnable. See our Returns page for the full policy.
